Swine Flu on Ebay

So my post with the Ebay link is worthless. It was taken down by the admins because apparently magic spells to ward off the scary virus are not valid Ebay material. I paid big money for that spell! I hope it worked.

I think I am going to buy a ridiculous hat now to make me feel better.

My sister's turning 30 blog has inspired me to indulge myself.

Poor Kid

Everyone's seen this picture but I still find it funny. Though a joke, this poor kid is becoming the poster child for the Swine Flu. Actually, poor pigs too. They're probably perfectly healthy.

San Jose Sharks

Year in and year out, the Sharks look like a completely untouchable team in the NHL. Then the playoffs hit...

Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau are a complete waste in the playoffs. For instance, last year the Sharks road Jeremy Roenick through the playoffs. Given he played out of his mind but he was supposed to be the washed up veteran just hoping to have a contract in the league. What happened to the captain and his assistant Big Joe? They are completely worthless in the playoffs.

That said, they were the best team in the NHL at the end of the regular season and then lost to an 8 seed in the playoffs. San Jose, to you say...you are capable of MUCH more and you need to step up at some point and handle your business.

Roenick continued to contribute beyond anyone's expectations and proved he's still a valuable asset in the NHL. Hopefully he'll give it another go next year. I STILL believe there's a Cup in him somewhere...
